Complete Dominion in the Global Marketplace

When we seek God’s guidance and lean into His Favor, we are empowered to excel, lead, and have complete dominion in every sphere, including the marketplace. How can we tap into this Divine advantage? Let’s explore how Wisdom and Favor can position us to thrive in the global market, not just Favor with God, but also with men, fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives.
The global marketplace is a multifaceted arena where economic, political, and spiritual values are exchanged. As believers, we are called to have dominion in this space because our influence can shape economies, promote justice, and bring Kingdom values into every transaction and interaction. By exercising our authority in these areas, we can effectively reflect God’s love and purpose, transforming the marketplace into a platform for His glory.
The two keys to complete Dominion in the Global Market Place are: WISDOM & FAVOR
- Wisdom
In 1 Kings 7:13-14, we learnt about Hiram, a skilled craftsman brought to help build Solomon’s temple. The Scripture notes he was “filled with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge” for his work. This emphasizes that true wisdom is a divine gift, equipping us to excel in our talents.
Proverbs 4:7-9 reminds us, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom.” When we pursue wisdom, we gain insight and favour from God, enabling us to create and contribute meaningfully. Like Hiram, let’s seek God’s wisdom to guide our endeavours for His glory.
Ways to get wisdom
- Diligently studying & Learning one’s field Acts 7:22
- Experience and mentorship Proverbs 13:20
- Divine impartation Isaiah 11:2, Job 32:8
- Favour
This world is a world of men, without Favour even the most talented will not rise. Favor can be provoked! As much as you need God for Dominion, it does not replace the place of men in achieving this. Building quality relationships, fostering and nurturing relationships even when it seems like is not benefiting us at the moment is something crucial, we need to learn.
Favour can be provoked through:
- Diligence (proverbs 22: 29)
- Relationships (Proverbs 19:6)
- Value creation (proverbs 14:35)
- Divine Impartation (John 1:5)
Conclusion
Complete Dominion means superiority, supremacy, authority in your field, profession, education, ministry.
What is the purpose of dominion? What is the state of your heart? Will God get the Glory? Will you lift up Jesus? In all we do, how we live our lives let these questions keep ringing in our minds as this would reshaping our we live our lives. We as believers need to impactful in the society just as Jesus was when he was on earth
